It soon became apparent that we needed more space, so in 1982 we moved to premises at Mays Lane, Stubbington. The business continued to grow, carrying out works for Local authorities and the DOE. Further expansion took place through the 1980s with contract works for British Gas and building companies and a move to offices in High Street, Fareham . Throughout this period we were building a large customer base installing central heating, renovating bathrooms and doing property maintenance works for both domestic and commercial customers in and around the Fareham area. In 1990 we had the opportunity to move to better premises in Beaconsfield Road, Fareham where we opened our first showroom displaying bathrooms and showers. By 1995 we decided that we would prefer to reduce the company size and concentrate on our domestic customers in the Bathroom Central Heating and Property Maintenance areas. The premises at Beaconsfield Road was not suitable for these activities so we began the search for more prominent offices in Fareham. In 1999 we were fortunate to find an empty shop in West Street, Fareham where we set up the show room for gas fires, surrounds for gas and solid fuel fires and the accessories to go with them.
Installations by CORGI registered fitters The office is run by Jane with able help from Kathleen and the showroom is managed by Pat with part time help from her husband David. David Kennedy, Managing Director, oversees the whole operation as well as carrying out on-site surveys, estimations and supervision of the men on-site. All our operatives have been apprentice trained with those dealing with gas being Corgi registered. Geoff is a time-served bricklayer, ensuring a high standard of finishes on all our works. The company operates with the emphasises on quality workman ship and customer service. We pride ourselves on always using the best materials available installed in the best possible way. Products Bathroom sanitary ware: Ideal Standard, Twyfords and Armitage Shanks. Heating equipment: Boilers from Glow Worm, Potterton and Worcester, Controls from Honeywell and ACL and Radiators from Stelrad and Barlow. Gas Fires: Flavel, Valor, and Verine with Surrounds from Suncrest, Be Modern and Gallery. Work Timescales Bathroom works are usually booked with about a 2-3 month wait and fires and surrounds installed in 2-3 weeks. All works are guaranteed for 12 months ( 24 on central heating works).
